Key Responsibilities
  • Survey market trends and designs to recommend potential upcoming products
  • Develop new products with suppliers, focusing on margin optimization
  • Identify opportunities to determine optimal pricing and ensure competitiveness
  • Source new suppliers, evaluate their proposals, and coordinate design development
  • Perform quality checks on proposed designs based on requirements and budget
  • Compile and forward order quantities for management's approval
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess a professional certificate, diploma, or higher qualification
  • Prior experience in merchandising or buying, preferably in the textile or fast-moving consumer goods industry
  • Strong analytical ability and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
