Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Ground procurement activities, including rates sourcing and vendor management. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Source competitive rates and provide customized ground transportation solutions for RFQs and customer inquiries.
- Support the Business Development and Ground teams in identifying new opportunities and fostering customer retention.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize vendor performance and improve service quality.
- Adhere to CEVA's business rules and guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to establish robust Transport Service Agreements.
- Drive good governance practices within the organization and among external partners.
- Continuously explore avenues for cost savings and contribute to CEVA's overall cost reduction efforts.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Country Head and Function Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant business field.
Desired Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics or transportation-related roles.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
