About the Role:
- This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Oracle team as a Sales Manager, leading the MySQL Software Sales team in the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing sales team, driving sales growth and exceeding revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and channel management, to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive demand generation and sales.
- Stay ahead of the competition by analyzing market trends, product developments, and customer needs, informing sales strategies and driving innovation.
- Develop and present compelling value propositions to C-level executives, negotiating complex deals and securing new business opportunities.
- Mentor and coach sales team members, providing guidance on sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry trends.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in software/database sales.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the database and software & hardware business.
