About the Role:

  • This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Oracle team as a Sales Manager, leading the MySQL Software Sales team in the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing sales team, driving sales growth and exceeding revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and channel management, to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive demand generation and sales.
  • Stay ahead of the competition by analyzing market trends, product developments, and customer needs, informing sales strategies and driving innovation.
  • Develop and present compelling value propositions to C-level executives, negotiating complex deals and securing new business opportunities.
  • Mentor and coach sales team members, providing guidance on sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry trends.

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in software/database sales.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the database and software & hardware business.
