Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manual and Automation Tester to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a key member of our Testing Centre of Excellence (COE), you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) practices to ensure proactive and independent testing services.
  • Support quality solutions delivery through verification of software functionalities.
  • Plan testing activities such as test design, test cases, test data, and chair defect review meetings.
  • Conduct sanity testing and work with project teams to create test plans and execute test cases.
  • Review requirements for completeness, testability, and risk areas that could impact system quality.
  • Plan and perform test execution via manual or automation testing.
  • Chair issue triage meetings with project teams for root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Track testing progress and prepare status reports.
  • Identify testing risks and prepare mitigation actions to address them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology.
  • At least 6 years working experience with hands-on experience in manual and/or automation testing.
