About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Release Management Specialist to join our team at Singtel. As a key member of our Enterprise project and change requests releases, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating weekly releases to ensure alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and customer needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Release Planning & Coordination: You will lead the planning, scheduling, and coordination of weekly releases for Singtel enterprise projects and change requests.

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with software or infrastructure releases and changes, working closely with technical teams to develop rollback plans in case of issues during deployment.

  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, development, operations, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of release schedules and requirements.

  • Release Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive release documentation, including release notes, change logs, and post-deployment reports.

  • Deployment Oversight: Manage the deployment of releases into the production environment, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted deployment.

  • Post-Release Monitoring and Support: Monitor the performance of released software and changes in the production environment, identifying and escalating any post-release issues promptly.

  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve release management processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure more efficient and effective releases and change implementations.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all releases undergo appropriate testing and validation before deployment.

  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure that all release management activities comply with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards.

About You

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in release management, change management, or project management within the IT sector. Telecommunication experience is an added advantage.

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of release management tools, change request systems, and project management software.
