We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to fill the position of Private Equity Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, particularly in startups and accelerator programs.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in conducting financial analysis, preparing investment documentation, and supporting the entire investment lifecycle, from due diligence to portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate pitch decks and assess startup investment opportunities.
- Conduct meetings with startup founders to gather insights and evaluate potential investments.
- Prepare investment-related documents and agreements.
- Perform share cap calculations and assist with deal structuring.
- Coordinate Investment Committee (IC) meetings and prepare investment memos.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence and maintain accurate investment databases and valuation records.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams, founders, legal advisors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of investment processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with startups, accelerator participants, and ecosystem partners.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of startups, angel funding, and accelerator programs.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and cap table management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software tools.
