About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineer - Molding to join our team in Penang, Malaysia. In this role, you will be responsible for performing process development on existing and new molds in a systematic manner. You will also train and educate technicians to ensure a shared understanding and knowledge of molding processes across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Development: Develop and optimize molding processes to meet specifications and performance requirements.
  • Training and Education: Train and educate technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform molding processes effectively.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues and develop solutions to improve molding processes and reduce defects.
  • Analysis: Analyze test data using statistical tools to gain precise information and reach correct conclusions quickly.
  • Documentation: Document all investigations and results properly for easy access at a later stage.

What You Will Bring to the Team

  • Experience: Diploma/Degree in Engineering with extensive experience in Molding.
  • Skills: Good experience in supporting and troubleshooting day-to-day molding production engineering-related issues. Good experience in molding production engineering cost-saving projects.
  • Knowledge: Good experience in performing mold, molding machine, and molding process optimization and improvement. Able to conduct molded component defect analysis and problem-solving.
  • Certifications: Good experience with Advanced Molding Technologies. Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce defects in the molding production process.
