Assistant Sales ManagerJob Description:
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating and delivering high revenue growth through effective business strategies.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring competitors' movements, providing market intelligence, and formulating action plans to create potential sales pipelines.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will provide technical consultancy and advice on Hitachi products to complete and secure project sales.
  • Other key duties include attending sales enquiries, tenders, and technical clarification, as well as scrutinizing and preparing quotations and tender submissions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to perform market analysis and report findings to corroborate with business strategy.
  • The role also involves assisting and supporting management in executing and managing daily department work, as well as preparing relevant reports as required.
  • Ongoing sales and marketing follow-up with end users, M&E consultants, and contractors is essential for success in this position.
Job Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or a related field is required.
  • Channel partner development and management experience is highly valued.
  • Track record of generating at least RM5.0mil revenue is necessary for this role.
  • Exposure and experience in industrial component business, especially for UPS and air compressors, is desirable.
  • A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Marketing is preferred.
