About the Position

We are seeking an accomplished Corporate Finance Director to lead our finance team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with Group Finance to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Review and approve financial transactions, including invoices and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, including forecasts and budgets.
  • Identify areas for cost savings and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of MFRS and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
  • Proven experience in corporate finance, accounting, or related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and function as part of a team.
  • 10+ years related working experience.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent advantageous.
  • Prior experience in Big 4, regulatory environment, or listed company beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ERP/Consolidation systems, such as JDE/Sigma, an added advantage.
