We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Counsellor to join our team at Hong Leong Bank. As a key member of our Private Banking department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and expertise to high net worth clients.

In this role, you will work closely with Private bankers to develop customized investment strategies that meet the unique needs of each client. Your market knowledge and advisory skills will enable you to promote our full product range and drive new business opportunities.

  • To apply market knowledge in advisory, advisory managed and discretionary portfolio management to promote the full product range to meet client's needs.
  • Work closely with Private bankers to develop best roadmap for clients on asset allocation which are in line with client risk profile, the bank's investment strategy and adhere to internal compliance and local regulations.
  • Develop plans to increase product awareness amongst private bankers and clients on new product offerings.
  • Hit or exceed revenue forecasts and ultimately meet customer needs by driving new investment flows and retain existing business.
Organizational Responsibilities
  • Collaborate strategically with Management teams of other business segments and sales channels to solicit high net worth referral, upgrade and business opportunity.
  • Responsible for achieving targets and contributing towards the Private Banking business, in line with the bank's Wealth Management Strategy.
  • Responsible for PBC audit and compliance in line with the Bank's internal policy, standard and procedures and other regulatory requirements.
