This position is part of the Financial Business Services team and will be responsible for supporting Allianz entities with settlements, credit control, and finance operation processing on transactions with intermediaries.

The role requires effective communication with intermediaries and involvement in finance transformation projects, such as system improvements, workflow optimization, and process enhancement within the finance operations department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage settlement for premiums, commissions, credit control, and daily finance operation processing on intermediaries.
  2. Reconcile funds received and perform inter-system and suspense reconciliation.
  3. Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to resolve related issues.
  4. Send statement of account and commission advice for intermediaries.
  5. Perform credit card charging for aged premiums and liaise with intermediaries and Policy Management Team.
  6. Process works with data security control execution.
  7. Resolve disputes and issues with intermediaries in collection of premiums.
  8. Propose improvements in processes and controls in AR scope of work.
  9. Establish SOP for AR scope of work assigned.
  10. Liaise with Business Development Teams in the management of intermediaries.
  11. Liaise with IT Technical Team and/or Policy Management Team to resolve discrepancies in bookings, GST, and intermediaries account set up that affects premium collection.
  12. Perform ad-hoc job tasks assigned by Finance Operations Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Degree in Accountancy and Finance.
  2. Minimum of at least 2 years of experience in finance operations of an insurance company.
  3. Ability to understand, elaborate, and convey information clearly and effectively.
  4. Ability to identify patterns and root causes in complex data and processes.
  5. Ability to handle complex processes, including understanding of data flows.
  6. Ability to navigate ambiguous and complex situations.
  7. Preferably with knowledge and understanding in Reinsurance structure and processing.
