Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at ENGIE South East Asia. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, testing, and commissioning of data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Testing: Collaborate with engineers to test, validate, install, evaluate the performance of electrical systems as per the design specification and calibrate based on performance models.
  • Performance Evaluation and Documentation: Conduct inspections to check the functionality, performance, and safety of data center systems and equipment. Prepare test plans, procedures, and reports to document the testing and commissioning activities.
  • Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects that arise during the testing and commissioning process. Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment faults after project handover.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical engineering or related field.
  2. At least 3 years of relevant experience in data center testing and commissioning or a similar role.
  3. Knowledge and skills in data center systems and equipment, such as server, storage, network, power, cooling, fire protection, and security.
  4. Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  5. Basic understanding of infrastructure systems (power generation for renewable energy or electrical systems for data centers).
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
