Route Revenue Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical individual to join our Route Revenue Team as a Data Analyst, reporting to the Revenue Manager. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the aviation industry, has strong numerical and analytical skills, and is enthusiastic about new technology and process automation.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing revenue of the given portfolio by analyzing available data and improving route performance. This will involve:
- Revenue Management: Managing flights inventory and pricing to optimize revenue based on demand and supply theory and to ensure revenue targets are achieved.
- Market Analysis: Actively tracking and analyzing market trends, seasonality, customer profiles, booking trends, competitor movements, etc. to inform revenue decisions.
- Collaboration: Working cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales teams to improve route performance and coordinate with internal stakeholders and the pricing team to manage promotions and fare fillings effectively.
- System Administration: Working with Revenue Management teams to understand bugs, issues, feature enhancement requirements, etc. and coordinating with the vendor to implement and prioritize bug fixes, issue hotfixes, new releases, feature enhancement implementation/roll-out, etc.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Aviation Management, or a related field. Graduate degrees are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills (i.e. pivot tables, advanced functions).
- Passionate about systems and new technologies.
- Detail-oriented, independent, resourceful, self-starter, and pro-active.
