  • Conduct fraud verification of reported fraud activities/cases from various sources.
  • Obtain evidence, gather ground intelligence of common fraud schemes, and provide necessary support in investigations happening in the market as part of validating sources.
  • Develop reports on confirmed fraud MOs with necessary information such as suspect profiles and associated background information.
  • Drive continuous improvements in fraud detection through investigations and research.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement risk mitigation and improvement solutions.
  • Use data analytics/models to identify fraudulent behaviors and implement strategies to take action on bad actors.
  • Optimize risk controls and processes to minimize false positives and manual reviews.
  • Communicate findings to senior/executive management in a clear, concise, and data-driven manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fraud risk management, preferably in FinTech, e-commerce, strategy, consulting, or analytics.
  • Strong understanding of fraud space, hands-on knowledge in fraud, payments, e-commerce, risk policy development, or risk enforcement work.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior executives.
  • Positive, constructive attitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Data-driven approach, experience in data analysis (Excel), and knowledge of data querying (SQL) and dashboard building (Tableau, PowerBI).
