Job Title: Senior Manager or Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager or Manager to join our team at Texchem Corporation Sdn Bhd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting matters and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Financial Reporting:** Review and ensure timely, accurate, and complete submission of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, variance analysis reports, reconciliation reports, projection reports, and budget reports.
  • **Internal Controls:** Assist in ensuring effective internal controls are in place and compliance with regulatory laws and rules of financial, operational, and tax reporting.
  • **Audit and Tax:** Coordinate and assist in preparation of audit and tax schedules and respond to queries.
  • **Team Management:** Assist in managing team members in the Finance department, assigning work to finance team members according to availability, skills, and development.
  • **Government Relations:** Deal with government-related issues, such as statistics, SST, and other regulatory matters.
  • **Administrative Matters:** Handle and monitor company banking facilities, insurance coverage, and other administrative matters.
  • **Ad-Hoc Tasks:** Take on ad-hoc tasks as required.

**Requirements:**

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Degree in Accounting.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
  • At least 3-4 years of working experience in related fields is required for this position.
  • External audit experience would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a team member.
  • Required skill(s): Ms Office & related Accounting system experience.
