Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Receive, sort, verify, handle exceptions, bar code, scan, and pre-archive Accounts Payable documents for further processing.
  2. Validate and process Purchase Order (PO) and contract-based invoices, non-PO invoices, prepayments, and down payments.
  3. Review supplier open items (due invoices, credit notes, debit balances, etc.) before executing payments.
  4. Investigate and reverse non-successful payments.
  5. Perform month-end closing activities, including purchasing accrual according to a predefined schedule.
  6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, or yearly reporting, such as monthly KPI reports and other operational reports based on affiliate requirements.
  7. Reconcile AP balance sheet accounts and clear aged items (e.g., GR/IR, GIT, suspense account).
  8. Perform supplier statement of account reconciliation and follow up on open items for closure.
  9. Handle internal and external queries and resolve them within the agreed timeline.
  10. Participate in compliance audits and respond to audit queries as necessary.
  11. Troubleshoot AP issues and participate in the implementation of projects.
  12. Engage in system integration and testing.
  13. Initiate and drive process improvement projects.
  14. Provide technical mentorship to team members and conduct internal process training for new joiners.
