Job Summary

Segi Value Holdings Sdn. Bhd is seeking a seasoned Financial Reporting Specialist to lead our financial reporting team. As a key member of our finance department, you will oversee the group consolidation and financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Financial Reporting: Analyze and review consolidated financial statements, consolidated notes, and statutory financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and applicable accounting standards.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports that provide in-depth performance review and analysis, guiding management in strategic decision-making and financial risk management.
  • Group Audit: Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and timely resolution of any audit issues that arise.
  • Accounting Policies: Maintain and enforce the group's accounting policies, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all financial reporting across the organization.
  • Group Budgeting: Participate in group budgeting process, consolidating related companies' budgets to ensure alignment with overall corporate financial goals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation process.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee tax computation for CP204/CP204A submission.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA study can be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in accounting software – SAP is an advantage.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
