Prestasi Flour Mill is currently looking for a skilled Packaging Team Lead to join our production team. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the packing line operations, ensuring efficiency, product quality, and strict adherence to food safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. The successful applicant will be able to lead their team to meet production goals while maintaining a compliant, safe, and well-maintained work environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Packing Operations: Ensure smooth, efficient processes throughout the packing line.
  • Ensure Quality: Monitor product quality and safety throughout the packing process.
  • Food Safety Compliance: Ensure all packing activities comply with FSSC 22000, Halal, HACCP, GMP, and other relevant food safety standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Monitor the condition of packing machinery, perform basic maintenance, and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Lead the Team: Guide and support packing operators to achieve daily production targets.
  • Solve Issues: Quickly address any operational or equipment problems on the line.
  • Maintain Safety: Ensure all safety, hygiene, and food safety guidelines are strictly followed by the team.
  • Manage Inventory: Keep track of packing materials and coordinate restocking as needed.
  • Conduct Inspections: Regularly inspect facilities, equipment, and processes to maintain hygiene and safety.
  • Record & Report: Maintain accurate records of production, compliance checks, maintenance activities, and report daily performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-3 years in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
  • Computer knowledge: Familiarity with basic computer applications for data-entry, reporting, and inventory management.
