About the Job

The Asia Pacific Trading Center (APTC) is a key focal point connecting suppliers worldwide to Asian countries, handling intra-company purchase orders and acting as a virtual trading organization providing control over import/export supply chain activities for regional business units.

This position will ensure the implementation of efficient and effective processes in AP countries for all business units, while continuing to improve and harmonize system processes in the future. The role reports to the Head of APTC regional head.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Expert for APTC operations and services
  • Provide classroom training and hands-on support to APTC team members
  • Apply Lean techniques to maximize usage of global systems for communicating information to parties involved in the process
  • Work with country and Hub organization to ensure accurate input to APTC
  • Collaborate with Regional Process Experts to generate change requests for system functionality improvements
  • Support Business Release Management ensuring successful knowledge transfer to APTC users and coordinate UAT
  • Identify areas of improvement using the non-conformance system and work with concerned parties to implement corrective measures
  • Coordinate with Operations Lead to address improvement opportunities specific to businesses
  • Represent APTC and its processes in projects
  • Foster the sharing and deployment of best practices to improve cooperation and overall performance across the region
