Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Research and Data Management Lead to join our team at OPPO by JIE Business Sdn Bhd. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for leading market research and data management initiatives to drive business growth and inform strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research:
    • Develop and execute market research roadmaps to identify trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies in the mobile phone industry.
    • Conduct consumer behavior analysis by segmenting and developing consumer profiles, pinpointing core target audiences, and providing consumer insights to drive marketing efforts and support business growth.
    • Perform market analysis through various tools and channels (e.g., PEST analysis, surveys, and market reports) to identify key insights, market and consumer trends, and business opportunities.
    • Provide competitive and market findings to support new product and services initiatives.
    • Develop and deliver reports by highlighting key insights and recommendations to stakeholders across different levels and functions for business decision-making.
  • Data Management:
    • Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to enhance decision-making and drive business growth.
    • Maintain and update data databases to ensure they are accessible and function properly.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop dashboards and reports that track and measure sales performance against these metrics.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years' working experience in the consumer electronics or FMCG industry.
  • Language: English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Skills: Market research, marketing strategies, analytical skills, problem-solving, Power BI, PEST analysis, consumer behavior, leadership.
