Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in ManpowerGroup Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and support to the business.

Responsibilities:
  1. Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and correspondence related to corporate and commercial transactions;
  2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to stay up-to-date with new laws and regulations affecting the Company and its businesses;
  3. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  4. Liaise with external counsel and consultants as needed;
  5. Maintain accurate records of all legal documents and ensure proper filing and storage;
  6. Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on legal matters and issues;
  7. Perform other ad-hoc assignments as required by senior management.
Requirements:
  1. Possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from a reputable institution; those who are called to the Malaysian Bar have a significant advantage;
  2. A minimum of 3 years of working experience in a legal firm or as in-house counsel for the post of Senior Executive, or a minimum of 2 years for the post of Executive;
  3. Excellent writing, problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, communication, and management skills;
  4. A strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality;
  5. Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  6. Excellent command of verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
