Main Responsibilities
  1. QHSE System Management: Establish, implement, and maintain the QHSE Management System to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  2. HSE Oversight & Audits: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards. Coordinate HSE Committee activities to uphold safety and environmental standards.
  3. Incident Investigation & Reporting: Investigate accidents and incidents, ensure timely reporting, and implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
  4. Training & Compliance: Organize and conduct training sessions for personnel on HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  5. Regulatory & External Liaison: Act as the main liaison with external authorities on environmental, health, safety, and statutory matters.
  6. Safety Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Supervise daily operations, enforce HSE measures, and drive continuous improvements in workplace safety, security, and environmental performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or suitable technical qualification.
  • Must be a registered Green Book Holder with DOSH or possess an equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Power Plant industry
  • Strong knowledge of power plant operations, QHSE management systems, and legal requirements related to safety, security, health, and the environment.
  • Proven ability to drive HSE programs with strong leadership, analytical, planning, execution, and interpersonal skills.
