Our team at BD is committed to delivering high-quality products while continuously improving our processes. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in supporting yield improvement activities across all shifts in the Dip Room and First Inspection and Packaging/Cartoning.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Improvement Specialist who can identify defects at their source, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to drive quality and cost improvements within our plant. If you have a passion for process optimization and are driven to deliver exceptional results, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and Evaluate Defects at Source: Conduct regular assessments to identify potential areas of improvement and implement corrective actions to minimize defects.
  2. Failure Investigation: Lead investigations into product failures to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention.
  3. ID Opportunities to Support Cost/Quality Improvements: Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings and quality enhancements, then develop and implement plans to achieve these goals.
  4. Scrap Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of scrap materials to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to minimize waste.
  5. Execute Assignments Given and Report Progress: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete assigned tasks and provide regular updates on progress.
  6. Management of Product and Process Validations Program: Develop and manage validation programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  7. Promote Positive and Healthy Working Environment: Foster a culture of teamwork and respect within the department, promoting open communication and collaboration among team members.
  8. Track, Coordinate, and Follow-up on FI, CAPA, and Procedure: Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks related to failure investigations, CAPAs, and procedural documentation.
  9. Other Assignments as Instructed by Immediate Supervisor: Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the achievement of team objectives.

Primary Work Location: MYS Kedah - Bard Kulim (Malaysia)
