The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and customer service, with excellent leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the hostel, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage staff effectively, handle budgets, maintain records, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, monitor occupancy rates, and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
  1. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing staff.
  2. Excellent financial and budget management skills, with knowledge of hospitality accounting principles.
  3. Experience in hospitality management and customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  4. Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies, with a strong understanding of the hospitality industry.
  5. Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions.
  6. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
  8. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  9. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field, with previous experience in managing a hostel or similar accommodation facilities.
