Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement action plans to achieve set goals and revenue targets for A&T compliance services.
  2. Manage a portfolio of clients and projects, leading teams to deliver services effectively, such as accounting and tax services.
  3. Conduct high-level reviews of deliverables, reports, and files before submission to clients.
  4. Train team members on the latest accounting standards and tax updates to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  5. Develop team members to conduct meetings and reports presentations with clients.
  6. Review correspondences and meeting minutes drafted by staff.
  7. Perform high-level reviews to ensure tasks are performed by staff in accordance with instructions and timelines.
  8. Resolve A&T issues promptly to avoid work disruption.
  9. Manage team performance through regular communication, feedback, performance reviews, and coaching.
  10. Evaluate ways to improve the workflow and efficiency of the Accounting & Tax department.

Key Requirements

  1. Accounting degree or qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  2. Proven experience in a multi-country, multiple legal entity environment.
  3. Previous experience in BPO/SSC/Centralized delivery model is advantageous.
  4. Previous experience in managing or leading teams (Accounting/Reporting) for at least 3-4 years.
  5. Good knowledge of accounting, GAAP, corporate practices; IFRS knowledge is an asset.
  6. MS Office literacy; Workday Financials or other ERP systems are beneficial.
  7. Good English language skills (written and spoken).
  8. University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is beneficial.
  9. Proactive and engaged attitude.
  10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  11. Continuous improvement mindset and process orientation, with a solution-oriented work approach.
  12. Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve conflicts in an effective and timely manner.
