Job Description

The Assistant Manager - Retail Admin will be responsible for supporting the retail team by managing administrative tasks, ensuring efficient operation of retail activities, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. This role involves coordination with various departments, handling order processing, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the operation of the Retail administration team;
  2. Conduct regular team meetings and monitor team member performance;
  3. Ensure that all data in the sales administration system is accurate and up-to-date;
  4. Maintain up-to-date reports for management review, analyzing sales data, and providing insights for decision-making and sales admin operation strategy improvement;
  5. Ensure that all administration processes are carried out in accordance with standard procedures and requirements;
  6. Implement a proper filing system to ensure timely access and organization;
  7. Monitor, review, and improve the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Retail Operation administration, including budget control processes;
  8. Attend to enquiries and complaints, taking appropriate actions to resolve issues promptly and ensure customer satisfaction;
  9. Prepare and/or compile reports as and when required;
  10. Attend to any other tasks assigned by the Management.

Requirements

  1. Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Business Admin or equivalent;
  2. Minimum 5 years related working experience in a related field;
  3. Must be fluent in Malay & English;
  4. Ability to effectively supervise and lead a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  5. Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  6. Proficient in using relevant software and tools for administrative tasks;
  7. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  8. Possess a good attitude, result-oriented, and a team player;
  9. Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently.
