Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer (Server) to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and infrastructure solutions to our business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and technical support on infrastructure solutions to ensure reliable business capabilities.
  • Design, implement, and operate services to enable business capabilities based on the Microsoft Windows Server and its supporting ecosystem.
  • Assist with capacity planning and management, and make recommendations for strategic decisions.
  • Lead/participate in hardware and software certification activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify and recommend emerging technologies that can be implemented to improve business processes.
  • Lead collaboration with internal and external groups to evaluate and implement solutions for business needs.
  • Lead technical escalation of problem troubleshooting with internal and external support groups.
  • Develop and design automated solutions for related processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other recognized academic qualifications in IT-related fields with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Broad infrastructure background (servers, storage, network, etc.)
  • Windows and/or LINUX OS experience and knowledge.
  • Service Now/Ticketing experience.
  • Operations Support Tools (DATADOG, SCOM, MOOG).
  • Network fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting).
  • Able to troubleshoot infrastructure and application integration issues from tickets, email, or phone calls with end users.
  • Able to design, implement, document, maintain procedures, tools, applications, and utilities in support of the lab and production environment.
  • Fluent spoken/written English and strong technical writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage workload under time pressure and changing priorities.
  • Team player, work effectively as part of a global team; able to be productive when working asynchronously with colleagues from around the world and exhibit willingness to help others.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated.
