Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Consultant to join our team at IBDC (M) SDN. BHD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal audit, risk management, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage ad-hoc assignments and determine internal audit scope and prepare annual audit plan.
  2. Prepare and design audit plan and programme, including risk identification, assessment, and planned audit procedures.
  3. Conduct internal audit fieldwork, including business process walkthroughs, identifying and defining internal control issues.
  4. Prepare and ensure completeness of audit working papers and supporting documents.
  5. Draft internal audit reports with clear audit findings and sound recommendations.
  6. Follow-up on implementation of audit recommendations.
  7. Present audit reports and findings to the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
  8. Prepare accounting and financial statements reporting.
  9. Lead, supervise, and provide guidance to a team of associates.
  10. Review the work and documentation of juniors.
  11. Carry out any other ad-hoc and special assignments.
Requirements
  1. Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Master Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce/Economics, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  2. Working experience in the relevant field.
  3. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, good understanding and report writing skills, leadership, presentation skills, and common sense.
  4. Well-versed with relevant internal audit framework and guidance.
  5. Well-versed in financial reporting, standards, and framework.
  6. Professional skepticism and sound independent judgment.
  7. High attention to detail with sharp analytic skills.
  8. Independent and efficient problem-solver.
  9. Good business and financial risk-awareness.
  10. High initiative at work and commitment to deadlines and quality.
  11. Industry knowledge and compliance experience.
  12. Professionally presentable and good work ethics.
