Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Atoz Software Tech Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in understanding client business needs, translating requirements, coordinating with developers, and troubleshooting and resolving issues throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Needs Analysis: Understand client business needs based on business requirements gathered and perform business process studies on new requirements or projects.
  2. Requirements Elicitation: Elicit, analyze, and translate/document business requirements and internal requirements into functional specification documents for application development and testing.
  3. Requirements Coordination: Coordinates with participating developer teams to clarify business requirements.
  4. Change Request Analysis: Analyses and prioritizes change requests and updates functional requirement specification documents accordingly.
  5. Business Requirement Document: Prepare and write a business requirement document when necessary.
  6. User Manual Document: Prepare user manual document for the developed products to client.
  7. Project Collaboration: Closely work with a team of developers, designers, and quality assurers to meet project targets and quality objectives.
  8. Test Plan Scenarios: Assist and uncovering the test plan scenarios required for executions.
  9. Issue Resolution: Troubleshooting and resolve customer/internal bugs and issues.
  10. Post-Production Support: Support user acceptance testing, post-production, production issues review and track them to closure.
  11. Adaptability: Able to adapt, be agile, and manage constant changes.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or any other IT-related field.
  2. Experience: A minimum 1 year of experience working in any product development and/or systems or similar roles is required.
  3. Language Skills: Able to communicate and written in English and Mandarin.
  4. Communication Skills: Effective communications and interpersonal skills.
  5. Technical Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  6. Business Analysis Skills: Basic knowledge of various techniques/methods to perform business analysis tasks.
  7. Problem-Solving Skills: Proven business analysis skills.
  8. Critical Thinking: Critical thinking and problem-solving.
  9. Business Process Modelling: Basic knowledge of business process modelling.
  10. Software Development Life Cycle: Knowledge of the software development life cycle and its best practices.
  11. Database Knowledge: Knowledge of SQL/MYSQL will be an advantage.
  12. Modern Distributed Systems: Knowledge of modern distributed systems development techniques like microservices, APIs, XML will be an advantage.
  13. Certification: IIBA - Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) will be an advantage.
  14. Project Methodologies: Knowledge of project methodologies will be an advantage.
