Job Description:

We are seeking a Radiography and Clinic Assistant Professional to join our diagnostic imaging department. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and analytical skills, excellent communication and patient interaction skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities will include performing imaging examinations, preparing patients, ensuring radiation safety protocols, reviewing and evaluating image quality, and maintaining accurate records of procedures.

  • Performing Imaging Examinations: The successful candidate will operate imaging equipment such as X-rays to capture high-quality images for patient diagnosis.
  • Preparing Patients: They will prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
  • Radiation Safety: They will ensure that radiation protection protocols are followed at all times to minimize exposure to patients, themselves, and other staff.
  • Image Analysis: They will review and evaluate the quality of images to ensure diagnostic clarity, reporting any technical issues or abnormalities in imaging results.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with doctors to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnosis and treatment plans, providing compassionate care, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have regarding the imaging procedures, and maintaining accurate records of procedures. They will also perform routine maintenance checks on radiographic equipment to ensure functionality and safety, reporting any issues for repair.

  • Collaborating with Team: They will work closely with doctors to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Patient Care: They will provide compassionate care, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have regarding the imaging procedures.
  • Maintaining Equipment: They will perform routine maintenance checks on radiographic equipment to ensure functionality and safety, reporting any issues for repair.
  • Record Management: They will maintain accurate records of procedures, including patient data, imaging results, and radiation doses used during procedures.

Requirements:

A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging is required. Certified Radiographers with registration under the Malaysian Society of Radiographers (MSR) or relevant governing body are preferred. Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting is advantageous but not mandatory for fresh graduates. Strong technical and analytical skills, good communication and patient interaction skills, fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
