About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished academic leader to provide strategic guidance and direction to the programme. You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality teaching and research in creative smart home design, immersive spatial experiences, and interactive environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic leadership and strategic direction to the programme.
- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and research in creative smart home design, immersive spatial experiences, and interactive environments.
- Drive the development of interdisciplinary curriculum content that integrates digital technologies such as AI, IoT, AR/VR, and interactive media into spatial design.
- Establish partnerships with industry leaders, government agencies, and international institutions to enhance the programme's impact and visibility.
- Mentor faculty members and students in creative research, design thinking, and industry-driven projects.
Requirements:
- PhD in Design, Smart Environments, Interaction Design, Immersive & Interactive Design or a related field.
- Strong academic background with a proven track record in teaching, research, and scholarly publications.
- Extensive industry experience in smart design, digital environments, or immersive spatial interaction.
- Expertise in digital tools, smart technology integration, and interactive media applications in spatial design.
