Project Start Recruitment is seeking a skilled Boiler Service Technician to join their team in Bristol. As a key member of the Mechanical & Electrical client, you will be responsible for providing installation services in and around the area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Landlord Gas Safety inspections and gas appliance servicing at private and social housing properties, adhering to manufacturers' instructions.
  • Perform reactive maintenance on all types of boilers and heating systems, ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures and industry standards.
  • Manage company vehicle, including cleanliness and van stock levels, while maintaining a flexible approach to working hours and being part of a call-out rota.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic heating systems, fault finding, and central heating controls, with a proven track record of customer service and property respect.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Accredited Certification Scheme including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1.
  • UHWSS (G3 Unvented Hot Water systems) certification.
  • Essential system controls, electrics, and basic heating wiring knowledge.
  • General IT skills, including documentation completion related to work activities, which may involve using an iPad.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working on heat-pumps (air & ground source) and solar thermal systems.
  • Experience working on underfloor heating systems.
  • DASHP (BPEC Level 3 domestic air source heat-pumps) and DGSHP (BPEC Level 3 domestic ground source heat-pumps) certifications.
  • STHWS (BPEC Level 3 solar thermal hot water systems) certification.

  • Annual salary of £38K based on 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
  • Company Van.
