Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Versatile Creation Sdn Bhd. This role involves managing HR tasks related to payroll at our Business Service Center in Malaysia.

This position requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work closely with Corporate and Local HR, employees, and management to improve processes and implement changes to increase efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementation of the Global and Regional HR Strategy and policies, through leading the Entegris Business Service Center Malaysia Human Resources (EBSC Malaysia HR) team function, supporting and maintaining the infrastructure, systems and processes in line with company standards and legislations.
  • Delivering operational excellence of HR solutions, partnering with country HR, Corporate HR and other functional teams.
  • Identifying opportunity and delivering continuous process improvements as part of key global HR projects to support the further development of the Shared Services HR function.
Requirements:
  • Minimum a bachelors degree in any related field. Additional HR qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • 5 years of experience in HR Shared Services environment, with a focus on managing end-to-end payroll operations for Japan and China.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in Japanese. Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.

  • Experienced in driving and executing service migration projects in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Familiarity with Workday and Global View SAP system is advantageous.
  • Having team lead experience will be preferred.
  • Must be based in the Penang office.
