Job Description:

As a Test Engineer at AppFuxion Consulting, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products. Your primary goal will be to identify and report defects in a timely manner, allowing our development team to resolve them before release.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and scripts based on software requirements
  • Document test results and provide them to the Team Lead and stakeholders
  • Investigate and resolve software problems in collaboration with other technical personnel
  • Maintain the defect log, including validation of defects, assignment to developers, coordination of questions with users, and validation of fixed code
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) preparation and execution
  • Contribute to user documents, such as help files, user guides, and quick tips
  • Participate in Agile team meetings and proactively identify risks and mitigations
  • Meet quality standards and complete assigned tasks on time
Minimum Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience in QA testing or relevant field
  • Knowledge and experience in testing methodology/framework in manual testing with the Banking domain
  • Able to work on test planning, test scoping, test scripts/cases, issue/bug reporting, test progress reporting, follow-up on fixes validation, and assist in issue/bug investigation
