- Authorized to approve and release test reports on chemical analysis and testing, providing expert interpretation and opinion.
- Develop and implement test methods for the Chemical Laboratory, including validation, measurement of uncertainty, quality control, modification, development, and procurement of related chemicals, reagents, equipment, and supplies.
- Verify sample information in the online system matches the labeled samples.
- Maintain accurate and organized quality and technical records for the laboratory.
- Monitor and record temperature and humidity levels in the chemistry laboratory.
- Inspect client samples for quality and consistency.
- Perform chemical testing according to established test methods.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as per established instructions.
- Analyze and identify root causes of client complaints.
- Evaluate and ensure the quality of daily work, adherence to policies, and compliance with the quality system.
- Ensure the training and competence of the lab manager.
- Maintain safe laboratory practices, good housekeeping, and proper maintenance of equipment and facilities.
