As a Project Director, you will be responsible for managing a large-scale real estate development project, including the Asset Enhancement Initiative (AEI) of an existing 7-storey Retail Shopping Mall and the construction of a high-rise Serviced Apartment Tower.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning: Set out project scope, budget, timeline, and quality targets, and plan resources accordingly.
  2. Team Management: Appoint and manage a team of consultants to achieve project goals.
  3. Contract Management: Plan and package project contracts to suit project needs, call and award tenders to contractors/subcontractors.
  4. Site Supervision: Lead a team of in-house/external site supervision staff to achieve project quality, progress, and safety targets.
  5. Project Progress: Drive project progress in all aspects, including design, authority submission and approval, construction, completion, handover, and defects management.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and work closely with internal & external stakeholders, e.g., Investment & Asset management team, Mall Centre Management team, etc.
  7. Reporting: Report to the Project Director in Singapore HQ, manage the design, planning, authority submission and construction supervision of the project.
  8. Internal Coordination: Coordinate with internal stakeholders in the process of the project.
  9. Government Liaison: Liaise with various local government agencies for smooth project approval.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil & Structural, Architectural, M&E, or Building Management.
  2. Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience, preferably with real estate developers.
  3. Project Experience: Experience in Retail & Commercial development projects or Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEI) project is an advantage.
  4. Personal Qualities: Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment.
