Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: The Senior Project Manager will plan and execute projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery, quality output, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Project Coordination: They will coordinate go-live readiness assessments, manage cutover activities, and ensure seamless project transitions.
  • Stakeholder Management: The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including executive management, cross-functional teams, and vendors.
  • Performance Monitoring: They will track and analyze project progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT/Business or any related discipline.
  • Minimum Ten (10) years working experience with minimum Eight (8) years industry experience in various project management, product, corporate/strategic projects, or IT-related projects.
  • Proven experience (Minimum 5 years) as a Project Manager in Insurance/Fiscal Industry-related projects, demonstrating a solid understanding of Insurance or fiscal management principles, processes, and systems.
  • Excellent overall project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience managing complex to mega-size projects or program management (project value with RM3-5 million or above).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex solutions/information to stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project managers/project teams toward successful project outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral & written.
