Administrative Manager Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Administrative Manager to join our team. As an Administrative Manager, you will be responsible for managing various operations at our facility, including working within general methods and procedures and exercising considerable independent judgment to select proper courses of action.

In this role, you will require knowledge of the policies, procedures, and regulations of administrative and departmental programs, as well as supervisory techniques, personnel policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage various operations at the facility.
  2. Work within general methods and procedures and exercise independent judgment to select proper courses of action.
  3. Require knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations of administrative and departmental programs.
  4. Supervisory techniques, personnel policies, and procedures.
  5. Recruit and train personnel and allocate responsibilities and office space.
  6. Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure high levels of achievement.
  7. Ensure the smooth flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
  8. Manage schedules and deadlines to meet organizational objectives.
  9. Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  10. Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation and ensure financial stability.
  11. Manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable issues and resolution.
  12. Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities, and tradespersons (e.g. electricians).
  13. Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning, etc.).
  14. Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations.
  15. Stay informed about all organizational changes and business developments.
