A Day in the Life:
As a Senior Operational Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting risk-based audits and reviews of business units, factories, head offices, and processes. This includes evaluating processes and controls to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency, reviewing compliance with laws, regulations, contracts, policies, and procedures, and ensuring reliability and integrity of reporting, confidentiality of information, and safeguarding of assets.

What You'll Do:
  • Prepare and execute risk-based audits/reviews of business units, factories, head offices, and processes.
  • Evaluate processes and controls to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Review compliance with laws, regulations, contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure reliability and integrity of reporting, confidentiality of information, and safeguarding of assets.
  • Identify and recommend control enhancements and process improvement.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Present audit results to stakeholders and agree on timelines for recommendation implementation.
  • Maintain and update audit programs, manuals, and tools.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess a degree in Economics/Engineering/IT/Mathematics/Law/Finance, with MSc (NGA required) and MBA or ACCA/CIA/CPA/CFA/CIMA preferred. Proficiency in English (written and oral) is essential, with proficiency in one other professional language an advantage. A minimum of 1-5 years of professional business experience in Industrial Performance, Quality, Engineering, Production, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Data Analytics, Auditing is required, with experience in FMCG an advantage. Willingness to travel internationally up to 70% of the time is also necessary.
