Job Description
  1. Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites tailored to business needs.
  2. Build custom themes, plugins, and widgets to enhance functionality.
  3. Integrate third-party APIs seamlessly with WordPress.
  4. Create and manage custom taxonomies, post types, and archive templates.
  5. Develop fully responsive, mobile-friendly designs using Elementor Pro and custom code.
  6. Troubleshoot performance, security, and compatibility issues across the site.
  7. Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to deliver a cohesive user experience.
  8. Optimise websites for speed, mobile performance, and SEO best practices.
  9. Implement and maintain WordPress security measures to protect against vulnerabilities.
  10. Ensure seamless deployment of updates, features, and integrations with minimal downtime.
Requirements
  1. Extensive experience with WordPress development, including themes and plugins.
  2. Proficiency with Elementor Pro for advanced responsive design.
  3. Expertise in API integrations and troubleshooting (RESTful APIs, JSON, etc.).
  4. Skilled in managing custom taxonomies, post types, and archive structures.
  5. Knowledge of WordPress coding standards and best practices for clean, maintainable code.
  6. Experience with testing and debugging in a sandbox/staging environment before going live.
  7. Ability to install, update, and customise plugins while ensuring compatibility.
  8. Strong focus on website security, including vulnerability scanning and prevention.
  9. Experience with performance optimisation, including improving load times and reducing bottlenecks.
  10. Familiarity with SEO practices, including schema markup and metadata implementation.
  11. Comfortable managing hosting environments (e.g., cPanel, Plesk, cloud hosting) and server configurations.
  12. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  13. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality.
