Grocery/HBC Category Manager Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Grocery/HBC Category Manager to join our team at D.C. Global Talent Inc. As a key member of our retail category management team, you will play a crucial role in driving business success through strategic planning, procurement, and management of our grocery and health/beauty product categories.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive annual/quarterly category plans to achieve profit and growth objectives.
  • Vendor Partnerships: Collaborate with the Buying team to negotiate optimal prices, quality, and terms with suppliers.
  • Inventory Optimization: Precisely plan inventory levels and budget spending allocation using stock planning and open-to-buy tools.
