Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager in Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance. The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring the effectiveness of our IT governance framework, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • IT Governance
    • Regularly review and update IT governance processes and control mechanisms to ensure alignment with business practices, risk management, and compliance requirements.
    • Define and maintain IT policies, standards, and guidelines, covering software development life cycle, change management, capacity planning, and IT continuity.
    • Establish and maintain an effective IT governance reporting structure and perform regular reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Information Security Risk and Compliance
    • IDentify, assess, escalate, and mitigate risks related to IT services.
    • Ensure timely reporting and communication of identified risks to enable effective risk management.
    • Develop, review, and update the IT risk register to reflect changing risk landscapes.
    • Provide guidance to engineers on IT risk-related matters and processes.
    • Monitor compliance with implemented standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage policy exceptions and risk mitigation activities to enhance the control environment and compliance posture.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience in developing or implementing information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as RMiT, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and NIST Cyber Security.
  • Experience in risk identification, evaluation, management, and monitoring.
  • Experience in IT security project coordination.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to address technical and non-technical audiences.
