Your Role

You will be responsible for assisting with client operations, creative projects, content creation, business pitches, and client advisory. This includes managing day-to-day operations of client accounts, participating in brainstorming activities, office meetings, and client consultations.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the internal operations of client accounts on a daily basis.
  2. Creative Collaboration: Participate in brainstorming sessions, office meetings, and client consultations to develop innovative ideas and solutions.
  3. Content Creation: Assist in crafting high-quality content such as press releases, speeches, social media posts, and briefing documents.
  4. Business Pitch Support: Contribute to new business proposals by conducting research, creating slides on Canva, and providing media and social insights.
  5. Client Advisory: Provide counsel to clients on effective messaging strategies and mitigating negative PR issues.
  6. Industry Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with client and industry news, analysing and summarising key developments.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Handle appointment scheduling, adjust office timetables, and maintain office databases.
  8. Travel Requirements: Be prepared to travel for in-person client meetings and events.

What We Look For

  • Passion for public relations and/or related fields, including advertising, marketing, media, and publishing. A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Enthusiasm to assist and contribute to ongoing projects, including developing media lists, key messages, and press releases, executive briefing materials, landscape and media audits, well-crafted pitches, and strategic recommendations that integrate paid, earned, social, and owned media.
  • Ability to multitask and support multiple projects from conception to completion, anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence.
  • Business writing and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate a point of view with confidence and gravitas.
  • Proven track record in prioritizing workload and supporting senior team members.
  • Collaborative, non-hierarchical mindset.
  • Positive relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Delivery-driven with the ability to take responsibility for tasks and accounts.
  • Desire to share previous expertise and experience to enhance team work.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to 'get stuck in' and make the most of opportunities.
