Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute procurement strategies aligned with project requirements, budget, and timeline.
  • Conduct cost and service comparisons, preparing recommendations for supplier selection, and handle routine purchasing tasks.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve favorable terms, ensuring cost savings without compromising quality standards.
  • Optimize freight and shipping arrangements to contribute to cost management and seamless logistics operations.
  • Manage day-to-day procurement transactions and assist with additional activities as required.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in direct purchasing within a main contractor environment is required.
  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) for effective communication with Chinese suppliers is essential.
  • Possessing knowledge in quantity surveying is an added advantage.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines and make logical judgements with holistic considerations.
