Job RequirementsThe Safety and Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring our organization meets all relevant safety standards. This includes developing and implementing safety programs, managing regulatory compliance, and conducting audits to mitigate risks.
Duties and Responsibilities- Regulatory Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of regulatory compliance.
- Ensure timely submission of necessary documents.
- Safety Program Implementation:
- Design and implement safety programs aligned with industry standards.
- Monitor program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Incident Response:
- Lead incident investigations to determine root causes.
- Develop corrective action plans to prevent future incidents.
- Training and Professional Development:
- Pursue ongoing education and training in safety management.
- Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or related field.
- Certification in Safety Management is beneficial.
- Background in Aviation Operations, Safety compliance, or risk management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations under DOSH and CAAM.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
