Job Title: Cyber Security Manager

This role is part of our Group IT Risk department under Group Risk Management division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technology and cyber security risks while meeting business service commitments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the needs to manage the bank's technology and cyber security risks while meeting business service commitments.
  • Review Business Requests, Projects and Initiatives while ensuring technology and cyber risks are adequately assessed and mitigated.
  • Keep stakeholders abreast of technology and cyber security threats, effectiveness of current controls and priority of enhancement initiatives.
  • Assess technology and cyber risks, and oversight on the implementation of mitigating controls.
  • Entails monitoring and analyzing risk areas in a bank's operation to ensure observance of state or bank regulations.
IT Risk Reviews
  • Analysing the trends and addressing anomalies in system related statistics cutting across system uptime SLAs, system downtime requirements compliance (as per RMiT 10.32) for dashboard reporting.
  • Responsible to conduct the IT Thematic reviews ranging from emerging threats to resiliency (e.g. Bank's ability to withstand a Ransomware attack, system end of life, capacity management & etc.), regulatory concerns as well as process effectiveness in the IT Security Domain.
Consultative and Advisory Role
  • Co-ordinating projects such as Red Team Assessments: Simulation real-world cyber attackers' tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to assess an organization's security posture.
  • Development of new frameworks or policies to fulfil new regulatory requirements as well as to align the group's IT practices to new strategies. Provide consultative advice and guidance on IT and cyber security related risks and issues including internal and regulatory guidelines, ongoing IT concerns and BCM/DRP. Participate in IT projects and initiatives to assist in managing the IT and cyber risk profile.
Frameworks, Policies and Procedures
  • Develop / review core IT risk management framework and policies for consistent and synergetic implementation across the Group.
  • Establish and develop new IT and cyber risk metrics and key risk indicators (KRI).

The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of working experience in IT Risk/Compliance in a Banking environment. Relevant professional certification will be advantageous. For example, CISSP, CISM, CRISC.
