Job Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Financial Assistant Manager/Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the finance function and ensuring the company's financial responsibilities are met on time.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in financing and accounting-related work and possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Manage the overall finance function to ensure full completion of the company's financial responsibility on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
  2. Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth.
  3. Oversee financing and treasury matters for the company and maintain good relationships with bankers.
  4. Ensure internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial, statutory, audit, and tax reporting/requirements.
  5. Provide strategic direction to management, offering high-level, proactive financial expertise and direction for both short-term and long-term financial planning.
  6. Advise management on financial resources and all financial operations.
  7. Preparation of budget forecasts and financial analysis.
  8. Undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as required.

Requirements

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  2. At least 7 years of working experience in financing and accounting-related work is required for this position.
  3. Preferably in property development and construction industries.
  4. Candidate must have at least a Degree/Diploma in Accounting or have partially completed their professional accounting qualification (i.e., MIA, CIMA, ACCA, or CPA).
  5. Have a good understanding of operating and capital expenditure, revenue, internal controls, and budgets.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
