About the Role
The Motor Claim Specialist will be part of the Claims team and will be responsible for supporting Allianz entities with claims operations to drive sustainable growth and profitability for the company. The specialist will handle complex claims related to motor accidents, ensuring efficient and fair resolution in line with local regulations and company policies.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of coverage, policy intent, and wordings. Attain annual claims savings set by entities annually for the team on pending claims volume and nature of claims. Manage claims effectively, including compliance to protocols/operating procedures, reserving, and managing panel of service providers. Maintain good Turn-Around-Time and claims service level standards to ensure end customer claims experience are met.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Professional certification in insurance or claims management. Certification in Basic Insurance Concepts and Principles (BCP), Personal General Insurance (PGI) and Commercial General Insurance (ComGl) with Singapore College of Insurance. More than 7 years of experience in motor claims handling, with a focus on third-party property damage claims. Extensive knowledge of Singapore's motor insurance regulations and claims processes. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
