Job Overview:
The Production Superintendent plays a key role in preparing for and executing offshore installation operations requirements during Project Phase (Win/Execute). This involves preparing engineering analysis, procedures, and coordinating with Project for safely and efficiently offshore scope execution.
Main Responsibilities:
Participate in P&ID Reviews, HAZOP, and Model Reviews to identify Operability, Maintainability, and Start-up issues and concerns.Develop offshore execution methods from offshore projects during project execution.Drive safety by design and lead on opportunities for innovation.Review engineering, technical project preparation, and execution support to design for operations.Review internal and external deliverables (drawings, reports, and procedures).Prepare offshore procedures.Determine Operation requirements.Perform operational risk assessments.Attend equipment testing.Coordinate Production department assigned to the Project.Develop and retain motivated and competent people.Take on system owner responsibilities.Liaise with Commissioning and Operations Managers during Engineering, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning Phases & Client Operations Manager during Start-up Phase.Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, 10 plus years of experience in the oil and gas industry with Major Contractors, minimum of 5 years acting in this position, familiarity with international codes and standards, good communication, coordination, and organizing skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, and liaise effectively and efficiently with other team members and outside stakeholders.
