Procurement Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations in Perai, Penang.

The role involves managing a procurement team, sourcing new products, and negotiating with suppliers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement and be able to lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and handle procurement team to plan, purchase, source, ship documents, food safety documents, licenses, PO issuance, receiving, stock count, claims, quality checks, and daily functions.
  • Negotiate with suppliers on price, quantity, delivery, and pricing terms for direct and indirect supplies.
  • Sourcing for new or replacement items or suppliers to enhance current conditions.
  • Solve problems on a project basis as a business organizer.

Requirements:

  • English language proficiency required.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in procurement.
  • Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Travel requirements domestically and internationally.
  • Interest in food industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint required.
